Dispute with: A Government Organization
Amount: Over $100,000
Description: After 16 yrs. with Riverside Unified School District, I was fired because I discussed illegal and unethical financial transactions made by my supervisor/principal with the administration. This is basically a "whistleblower" case. I have plenty of documentation. The attorneys I've spoken with say they can't help because I belonged to a union which was supposed to be helping. The district payed the salary of the job steward. Is that legal? A conflict of interest? Not surprisingly, the rep. did nothing to help. I am still unemployed and can't find work despite good office skills and letters of reference. I want financial compensation for present and future lost work.
