Dispute with: A Business, Company, or Store
Amount: Over $100,000
Description: Over the course of 4 years I have noticed internet theft getting pretty serious, it has evolved into games that kids play, I have been looking over terms of service that these companies offer and I honestly don't think any of them are legitimate. I have personally spent far to much money on these games, from Beta access to full release cash grabs. Now I normally would just say to heck with it all but inside I am so frustrated that people can do this, to kids. I am an adult, I have respect and a brain! I don't agree with theft, The problem is in these games, they are designed to make you lose, even if you pay, you can lose all content and because the company got a lawyer to write terms out, it looks like it's legitimate however it is not. Let me explain the best I can how these companies are stealing money. You pay for VIP (fun booster) or in game cash (that's the seller!!) now normally this is okay right? They offer a service for money, the problem is half the games are bots programmed to run quests and collect items (i'm pretty sure the programmers use this technique to bring in cash as these bots are dominant on various games and never get dealt with, I have actually seen GM's pretend to kill the bots and make them dissapear for a short while ONLY when people complain, if people dont complain they are in full effect. If programmers really cared they wouldn't be there in the first place. The bots also sell you in game gold for your USD/CAD on shady payment sites which i'm sure are not taxed.) The problem with this is, the bots farm and sell with a program so it's not legit, then they store in game currency to sell later, this raises prices of in game content and is frustrating to paying customers to see automated bots in their way, constantly. But this is not the worst part. I have been hacked, had my accounts deleted with no explination and have been offered no compensation for this. In terms of service it seems like they can just write whatever they want to protect themselves but the reality is, it's still theft. There are millions of dollars being stolen all the time through internet games and no one is doing anything about it. I talk with people on forums and in games all the time, many share the same sympathy but they can do nothing about it because the support does not offer it. I am willing to get whatever evidence/proof I need to TONE some of these companies down a bit. I honestly believe that if there is no one leading people will do whatever they want AND no one is really leading. Heck I was tempted to make a game and do the same thing, it's free cash, you don't have to do anything, set a server up, run the game, charge people and offer nothing. I understand some of the terms are to protect the company in case of the server going down or getting damaged but I'm certain the terms are not there to rip you off like so many people have been. Imagine going to the store and having them say, "Sorry it was your responsibility, not ours, to ensure your product was working as intended before purchase, no refunds, no support, Have a bad day."

Ok, i will join this one, because i was qutoed as bad example First of all, i like init() methods and i use them all over the time, but they have some risks. Its easy to call them more than once when you do inheritance.public class Person extends Human {public Person() {super();init();}private void init() {//init stuff here}}public class Human {public Human () {init()}private void init() {//init stuff there}}What i mean is, you can easily come into trouble when you dont chain the init() methods correctly. And i think that my example is really not hard to read, you have a lot of this-constructors and one with some code. But technically these two ways are not too far away, both try to focus on a certain place where all the stuff happens.Marc http://qhkjqh.com erdqeij [link=http://nwldlfn.com]nwldlfn[/link]

I've never encountered any of these issues just reading out of curiosity though. Just wanted to say I enjoyed your input, especially in relation to all the garbage that had been posted prior and after this one. Thanxs!

Your just speaking out besauce your husband is illegal!!! sneaking across the border and becoming pregnant and getting someone pregnant just to obtain legal status or at least try to is ridiculous!!!!!! go through the process the right way and they won't have to worry its like they shoot first and ask questions later after all the witnesses are dead. and you can't do that point blank the law is the law i bet you would be begging for border security if a insane amount of the wrong immigrants got over here and made America like Mexico and if something does not get done that's what the future holdsnot all illegal are bad people and neither are the intentions but they are going about things the wrong way!!! http://qtcbbb.com qjevsrf [link=http://crujxoqqa.com]crujxoqqa[/link]

Annie you wrote this post a while back, I don't know if you are still needing ruoloetisn. There is definitely a big difference between your ex's sexual orientation and the abuse/dis-respecting other's boundaries. There are two things I find always help in abusive relationships:1) Return all the stuff that has been dumped on you. There has been all the emotional stress and thoughts of your ex's unresolved life lessons about respect which you and even your daughters are weighed down with. Visualize a large bucket, and fill it with all the thoughts and emotions everything that you took on from your ex. Then when it is full and you feel complete, return the bucket visualize handing it over to your ex's higher self or soul.2) Bind your ex to his spirit guides or angels. Visualize a golden net, and then wrap him in the net and tie it to his spirit guides/angels. You can also tie the net to the root or source of his unresolved life lesson about boundaries and respect. The point of doing this is to limit his ability to dump his unfinished karma onto you or your daughters.

Usually you are not legally copellemd to provide your Social Security number to private businesses unless you are involved in a transaction in which the Internal Revenue Service requires notification. The Patriot Act requires financial institutions to verify customers' identities, which can involve the SSN.There is no law, however, that prevents businesses from requesting your SSN, and there are few restrictions on what businesses can do with it. But even though you are not legally required to disclose your SSN, the business does not have to provide you with service if you refuse to release it. So in a sense, you are strong-armed into giving your SSN. This is often the case when applying for insurance and opening utility accounts. But don't give up. Be sure to ask if there is an alternate number that you can provide to the company, such as your driver's license number. Also ask if you can provide a deposit rather than giving your SSN to the company. Generally they only ask if they are looking to run your credit report, which most insurance companies will do when evaluating you for coverage.
