Dispute with: A Business, Company, or Store
Amount: Over $100,000
Description: My husband and I formed a business to promote a product in the State of AZ. We were very successful even though we had no help from the manufacturer. We invested thousands of dollars and even in this economy were able to get their product appoved in the muncipalities in the state of Arizona. This is not easy and takes from 3 months to 5 years for approval. After just 3 years the manufacturer pulled our exclusivity, is handing business off to an ex partner of ours that embezzled and continues to devalue our busines. The manufacturer has high profit margins, one employee a chemist that slaps labels on the product, the name of the product is what is of value, since this is what we invested money and time in equipment sales, testing etc. to have approved. They have a new owner whom we' have met only by the letter he sent pulling our exclusivity. He will not return our calls, and we have proof they breached our agreement in many ways. By selling at a lower price than to us, selling into the State of AZ when we had an exclusive, not referring potential customers our way.
